"Adelita" print based on Richard Huante's original digital art.
A few years ago, Richard was reading about the Mexican Revolution. Everyone knows about Pancho Villa and Zapata, but it was the Adelitas that fascinated him. He wanted to create a piece that honored them for their courage, resilience, strength and determination. His research led to the details seen here, including the Winchester styled rifle she is holding. It was enjoyable working on this historically themed painting.
